Update!

Whew! Things have been so busy with work that I have scarcely had time to think about my blog. But things are keeping on. I just started a new blanket for my colleague, Julia, who bailed me out of the huge problem with my last blanket. I've been doing a bunch of knitting while watching Netflix. (Yes, we finally got Netflix, and I am addicted.)

The pattern has everything -- bobbles, open work, and cables. I love it. Super fun and interesting.

Of course, Lily, is unimpressed. ;)

Seth and I have been making time for some great fun despite my crazy schedule. Last week, we visited the LimeRed Tea House, a new establishment in town. It was the most amazing place ever! They have a wide assortment of bubble tea and artisan tea. You can get all different kind of add-ins for your tea beverage. I cannot wait to go back and try more tea and snacks!

We also have exciting plans for Seth's birthday in April. The first weekend of that month, we're planning a weekend in New York City. We are going to see a concert that Seth has been wanting to see, Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy. Because New York is such a haul from Amherst. We decided to make a weekend of it. We'll drive to Connecticut and stay with Mom and Greg Friday after work. Then we'll take the train from New Haven into the city on Saturday, see the concert Saturday evening, and return back to Connecticut Sunday after lunch. This will give us time to do some sight-seeing in the city and really enjoy ourselves.

Although the concert is in Brooklyn, we're staying in Manhattan -- about thirty minutes away by subway. We're staying at the Broadway Hostel, located in the upper west side and affordably priced as under $100 for the night (including taxes). I can't wait for our trip. Pictures will be posted of course!
