Aloe

I had some aloe vera juice this evening with my Chinese food dinner. That's right aloe juice, like the plant! It was amazing and odd and pulpy. I was drinking little bits of aloe pulp. I definitely recommend it for a departure from the ordinary. You can get this wonderful beverage at Mom's House on Route 9 in Amherst. Go try some and let me know what you think.

Just think of how moisturized your throat is now. And how soothed it is from inevitable sunburn.

wow, I had no idea you could DRINK aloe. For some reason I imagine honey, but honey's not a plant, and if put on your body it's just sticky and gross.

Next time, you can have the Lycheé juice, it was a little too weird for me. But I'm glad that you liked the aloe stuff - now I won't have to throw David under the bus for having picked it out.

Yay for crazy Asian food market!

I always look at that store, but I'm not ever sure what's in there... the windows are always covered... but it's a restaurant and a market right..?

We should all try something from Mom's and write about it in our collaborative blog.

I have been OBSESSED with Mom's House ever since last summer. The special plate is like 3 proteins and rice or noodles for like $5. And it's super good. Can't beat that with a stick.
